Course Outline
1. Introduction
Microsoft Word is one of the most commonly used word processors, and can be considered a standard on both the Macintosh and Windows platforms. In addition to the usual word processing, Word can also be used to create, edit and format text documents.
2. General Objective
On completion of this Course, students should have hands-on experience in the use of editing and formatting Word documents, and be able to express one’s aptitude and creativity in design.
3. Specific Objectives
Students should be able to; a. Apply appropriate characterformatting features;
b. Apply underline, bold, italics, font types and sizes, superscript
and subscript;
c. Use formatting features effectively to enhance presentation; d. Change background colour, font size and other attributes,
such as font colour and bullets.
e. Use the cut, copy, and paste icons to edit documents;
f. Find and replace words or phases in a document; g. Design proper documents using paragraphs style and formatting |
